Meet your therapist, Christina

As the founder of Keep Growing Therapy, I aim to help my clients move through life’s many transitions and challenges, big and small. Whether you need to talk about stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, identity, or any other life experiences, I will be here to help you grow through what you go through.

I graduated from Pepperdine University with a master's in clinical psychology, focusing on marriage and family therapy. My practicum hours were completed at the Sacramento LGBT Community center where I was able to work with adults and teens on a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, queer identity, ADHD, family conflict, and others. My approach focuses on finding and cultivating a client’s strengths which will support learning and healing for the future. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness as my main tools for therapy. My practice also includes working with couples who are looking to strengthen their relationship or resolve an ongoing conflict. My preferred modalities for working with couples are Gottman and Internal Family Systems.

I was born and raised in Folsom California but dreamed of moving to the Pacific Northwest for many years. Most of my spare time is spent spoiling my two cockatiels, but I also enjoy working new craft projects, tending to my multitude of houseplants, reading Brandon Sanderson and Tolkien, or exploring the many food carts of Portland.
